Top Things to do in Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Sign

There are a few cool Las Vegas signs but this is the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign.  Definitely a stop for your list. It’s a stop that everyone has on their list so the crowds get big throughout the day, go early or at night. There is usually a lady there to take photos for you, she doesn’t charge but accepts tips. The location: 5200 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89119

Taking a Helicopter over the Las Vegas Strip at Night

See Vegas from above. I went on the night time tour of the strip and the lights of the hotels and casinos were breathtaking. Its definitely one of my favourite memories of Las Vegas. Check Groupon, they always have Helicopter deals which pick you up at your hotel and bring you to the airport for the tour. The tours also usually include a glass of Prosecco before the flight. The helicopter flies you along the the strip, turns around the Stratosphere (gets quite close which was exciting) and back down the other side of the strip.

Going to a Pool Party

Day time: Wet Republic at MGM Hotel & Encore Beach Club at Encore Hotel. To get on the guest list go to: lasvegasguestlist.com. Night time: Night-swim at XS & Encore Beach Club at Night

Checking out the Hotels:

The hotels in Vegas are like their own little towns so exploring them is a must. Each hotel has a theme and the detail that is put into that theme is unbelievable and has to be seen. Two of my favourite hotels are Paris & The Venetian (even though I love them all).

The 24hour buffet

The Buffet of Buffets pass is the 24 hour buffet I have done multiple times. It includes 5 restaurants: Flamingo’s Paradise Garden Buffet, Harrahs Buffet, Paris’ Le Village Buffet, Planet Hollywood’s Spice Market Buffet and Rio’s Carnival World Buffet, with the option to upgrade for $25 to include the Caesars Palace Bacchanal Buffet. Add just $5 in most of them for bottomless mimosa’s or around $10 for a bottomless beer & wine.

Coffee and Cupcake break

Outside the Venetian Hotel is a great place to sit and take in passing Gondola’s and to people watch. If you want to see the strip it is a lot of walking so definitely some coffee breaks are recommended.

Las Vegas is one of those places that no matter how many times you have been you will always find something new to do. I will be writing other blog’s on Las Vegas on things I have done and loved. I hope you enjoyed reading this quick look at some of my favourite things to do and see in Las Vegas 🙂
